A Letter to New Clients
Dear [Client],
Think of us as the sidekick in your story – not the hero. We’re your Watson, Chewbacca and Robin – all rolled into one. We’re here to help you solve problems and do some heavy lifting when needed. Along the way we will treat you as a partner, and do everything in our power to help you succeed. We guarantee our work and support your needs long after the project is delivered.
We offer you peace of mind.
We know that the creative process is a lot of fun, and as we get started on your project, we have a some ground rules that everyone should agree to follow. If that sounds heavy, fear not! What we've learned will ensure that both of us get the most out of this partnership. We enjoy the relationship with our partners as much as we enjoy the work.
Here’s what you can expect from us:
We will be communicative and transparent. At every stage of the project — from estimate to final delivery — we will be clear in our price, process, timeline, and strategic direction.
We will give you one main point of contact. You should never need to hunt for someone to answer your questions.
We will give you our very best work. This is as important for our business as it is for yours.
We will do our best to stick to deadlines. We know you’re excited to see the work being done, and often have an important launch date. Our deliverables will be on time, or we will let you know in advance if we need to adjust the project schedule.
Here’s what we expect from you:
You will give us one main point of contact. When we’re receiving clear direction and feedback from one person on your team, our team works more efficiently. That means deadlines, budgets, and creative spirit are preserved.
You will trust our creative and strategic process. We know what we’re doing – that’s why you’ve given us your company’s hard earned money. We’ll have checkpoints throughout the project so that you are able to provide valuable feedback.
You will provide timely feedback. Prompt responses from you ensure the rest of the schedule stays on track. If you need more time to review, please give us some notice so we can re-work the project calendar.
You will endeavor to meet all deadlines. We cannot be responsible for a missed launch date or deadline if you have been late in supplying materials or approving our work at any stage of the project.
We are excited to work with you and your team, and are confident that our ongoing partnership will be a great success!
Best,
Clint
